This page offers a breakdown of a catcher's or team's stance -- namely, the rate at which catcher(s) set up to receive pitches behind the plate with one or both knees down, a phenomenon which has seen a dramatic rise in popularity leaguewide with the continued understanding of the impact that such a setup can have on a catcher's ability to frame pitches. A catcher's knee is considered "down" when it is less than 9 inches above the ground at pitch release.
Catching stance data is available starting from the 2020 season. From 2020-24, catchers leaguewide had a higher called strike rate (47%) on "shadow" pitches at the edge of the zone in knee-down stances as compared to knee-up (45%), while having identical passed ball/wild pitch rates per 100 pitches (0.6).
For pitchers/batters: This shows the run values and rates for the catcher while that pitcher was on the mound or that batter was at the plate.
